In 2021, I suffered a finger dislocation and ruptured my Achilles tendon. However, this event gave me the opportunity to explore a tapestry project. Even though this physical disability was temporary, it made me realize how much I had taken my health for granted and how fragile life can be. I am grateful to be whole and to the doctors, nurses, and all other hospital workers for their expertise and dedication in helping me recover. I learned how precisely we are all made to function.
